About the Role
You’ll join our dynamic team developing cutting-edge battery backup solutions for data center applications. This role combines technical expertise in battery systems with strategic thinking to optimize power delivery across our infrastructure. You’ll collaborate with industry leaders and cross-functional teams to push the boundaries of what’s possible in large-scale power systems.
Responsibilities
- Design innovative battery backup solutions and management systems for data center applications, balancing performance, cost, and reliability requirements
- Lead technical evaluations of emerging battery technologies and power solutions, partnering with industry leaders to drive adoption
- Conduct comprehensive system analysis to optimize backup power configurations and performance
- Spearhead projects implementing novel technologies or creative applications of existing solutions
- Orchestrate cross-functional testing and validation processes to ensure robust system deployment
Skills & Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 2 years of experience in power electronics/battery design, or 1 year with an advanced degree
- Proven expertise in battery chemistry and electrochemical energy storage
- Hands-on experience with battery pack design, simulation, and testing
Preferred:
- Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in relevant technical field
- Background in data center power systems or stationary energy storage
- Proficiency with power electronics lab equipment and scripting (Python/Perl)
- Deep understanding of battery chemistries, degradation mechanisms, and module architectures
- Strong communication skills with cross-functional team experience
- Sharp analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail
Salary & Benefits
